The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Friday reported 35 new covid-19 cases and no new deaths in Westmoreland County.
The numbers bring the countywide case total to 952 and death total to 39. That includes 26 probable cases.
Probable cases are “patients who have a positive serology test and either covid-19 symptoms or a high-risk exposure,” according to a statement from the department.
The department reported 21 new cases Thursday, 33 on Wednesday, 35 on Tuesday and 27 on Monday.

In Westmoreland County, 21,424 people have tested negative for the virus.
According to the Department of Health, there are 93,876 cases and 6,880 deaths statewide.
All of Pennsylvania is in the green phase of Gov. Tom Wolf’s reopening plan, with Westmoreland switching to green June 5.
