Motorists may encounter changing traffic patterns in the Rostraver community of Webster beginning this week, while boring is under way on a section of Route 906.

According to PennDOT, workers will be completing geotechnical borings between Mechanics and Kline streets to prepare for a bridge replacement. The work is expected to begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday and may continue until 4 p.m. on Jan. 16.

The project is along a one-way stretch of Second Street where motorists head northwest and cross a tributary to the Monongahela River.

There will be no specific traffic restrictions or posted detour, PennDOT officials said.
