Two drivers were injured Thursday morning when their vehicles collided on Route 30 in Ligonier Township.

A man who was driving an SUV was taken by ambulance to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Ligonier Valley Police Sgt. James Friscarella.

He said a woman who was driving a pickup truck suffered facial injuries and drove herself to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash happened just before 10 a.m. when the man pulled out of Idlewild Hill Lane and his SUV collided with the eastbound pickup on Route 30, Friscarella said.

Eastbound traffic was temporarily restricted. All lanes of traffic were open by 11 a.m.

Additional details weren’t immediately available.
