Police have accused five juveniles from Greater Latrobe High School and one from Indiana County of using cellphones to disseminate an intimate image of an underage girl over the summer.

Pennsylvania State Police in Greensburg said Thursday they charged four girls from Latrobe — including one who was also described as a victim — as well as a boy from Latrobe and another from Indiana.

All the juveniles are 14 years old, police said.

Authorities did not specify the charges.

Police said the incident occurred around midnight Aug. 29 on Kimberly Drive in Unity.

Police said they were notified by Childline, the state’s child abuse hotline, about the incident.

Additional details were not available Thursday night.
