We’re in that weird inter-holiday period where time has no meaning and everything is snacks. So maybe it’s a good idea to get out of the house for a few hours. Try out some of these events to brighten up your weekend.
Eaglemania
Dedicated Eagles fans will appreciate this dedicated Eagles tribute band! Eaglemania works hard to do the most faithful versions of the classic rock band’s biggest hits, plus some of the popular solo tunes by its individual members.
The band works to be as authentic as possible, so get ready to go back in time and enjoy the Eagles’ tunes, such as “Desperado,” “Hotel California” and “Take It to the Limit” the way they were meant to be performed.
The group will hold two shows at the Lamp Theatre, 222 Main St., Irwin. They’ll go on at 8 p.m. both Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets are $44 each. Get yours at lamptheatre.org.
After-Christmas DIY jewelry workshop
Need a chill-but-fun way to unwind after the holidays? Need something crafty to do with family or friends? Preciosa Jewelry will be leading this jewelry workshop on Friday.
Create your own earrings or necklace at this sparkly post-holiday event. There also will be coffee and baked goods on sale to feed your sweet tooth.
The workshop will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Trendy Bunny Event Cafe, 600 Blank School Road, Suite 8, Greensburg. Learn more at thepreciosajewelry.com.
Muxic Bingo
Try out a game that’s a fun intersection between classic bingo and Name That Tune! Each player will receive a bingo card with a song listed in each square. The host will play snippets of songs, and if you recognize one of the songs on your card, you can mark it off. If you get bingo, you win!
This game will be hosted by Drink Beer and Know Things Trivia at Yellow Bridge Brewing Co., 33 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. It will run from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Come hang out, bring some friends, have a drink and play. It’s free to join.

Jubilee Year opening Mass
2025 is a Jubilee Year for the Catholic Church, an important yearlong celebration of faith for those in the Roman Catholic Church. This Sunday, Bishop Larry J. Kulick will open the Jubilee Year with a special Mass and celebration.
The celebration will begin on the lower level of the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg. There, the bishop will bless the diocesan cross and do a reading of the papal bull. Then, the event will proceed to Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main St., Greensburg, to celebrate Mass.
