An Irwin man was among three people jailed in Allegheny County this week after drugs, guns and cash were found during a raid in West Mifflin, West Mifflin police said.

Police said the illegal items confiscated were heroin, cocaine, pure fentanyl and fentanyl pills, marijuana, as well as four handguns, a rifle and $1,600 in cash.

Timothy Cochran, 26, who had addresses listed in Irwin and West Mifflin, was arrested along with Joseph Cardamone, 45, and Katie Chop, 41, both of West Mifflin.

The three were arrested during a raid by multiple law enforcement agencies Wednesday at a Pennsylvania Avenue residence. The drugs seized had an estimated street value of about $14,460, police said.

Cochran was charged with multiple counts of possession with intent to deliver and possession of narcotics.

Cardamone and Katie Chop were both charged with multiple counts of possession of illegal narcotics and possession with intent to deliver, as well as receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal conspiracy.

All three were charged with endangering the welfare of children.

Cochran and Cardamone were jailed in lieu of $20,000 bond and Chop was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bond. All three face preliminary hearings on Dec. 22.

West Mifflin police, working in conjunction with state Attorney General’s Office agents and members of the Westmoreland County Drug Task Force took part in the bust.
