The Jeannette branch of Sons of the American Legion are seeking donations for their 10th annual spaghetti dinner.

Officials running the April 27 event, which benefits homebound and disabled veterans, are looking for basket donations for a Chinese auction. Complete baskets or items to go inside can be dropped off at the legion’s hall, 109 S. 5th St. in Jeannette.

Running from 3 to 7 p.m., guests will be served a garden salad, a plate of spaghetti and a drink. Cakes from DeLallo’s Biscotti Brothers Bakery will be served for desert.

Dine-in tickets cost $6 and takeout dinners cost $7. Officials are expecting between 500 and 600 diners.

Prior to the dinner, between 20 and 25 veterans from the Veterans Affairs campus in Aspinwall will be honored. The Legion will host dinner, games and prizes.
