A missing Bradenville woman was found Monday and is safe, state police at Kiski Valley said.

Georgetta Marshall, 63, was reported missing by family members. She was last seen about 7:30 p.m. Friday, according to police.

Marshall may have been spotted early Saturday along Mission Road in the area of Hemlock Drive, walking toward Route 30 in Unity Township.

Troopers were contacted Sunday morning by a carrier for the Tribune-Review who reported having possibly seen Marshall at 5 a.m. Saturday.

The man, who wished to remain anonymous, reported having seen a woman fitting Marshall’s description walking along Mission Road.

She was said to have been wearing the same clothing as was initially reported.

The carrier said he saw the person only for a moment and that it’s not unusual to see people walking in that area. He made the connection after later reading about Marshall and realizing the description of Marshall and what she was wearing matched the person he saw, notably a black hoodie with silver writing on the back.

“It never crossed my mind until the next day. It had to be her,” the carrier said.

State police, members of the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department Bloodhound Team and other agencies conducted a search.

Additional details were not immediately available from police.
