A Greensburg area organization is sponsoring an event to connect smaller nonprofit organizations with each other and with the community to make people aware of the life-affirming services that are available, the organizer said.

The Connections for Life event will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center, 951 Old Salem Road, Greensburg.

About 40 organizations are slated to be there.

Jolene Naugle of Hempfield, the organizer for Connections for Life, said there will be groups that help families impacted by addiction, the victims of sexual and domestic abuse and trauma-impacted children who are are paired with rescue horses. This will be the third year for the event.

Representatives from the groups will be able to explain what they do to the audience, before participants can interact with the representatives of the groups.

For more information, contact Naugle at 724-689-3308 or jolene@yourlifechoicesinfo.com.
