Can you name the ’80s song that starts, “Tommy used to work on the docks”?

If you could, you were off to a good start for Pub Trivia, the featured event at Art on Tap 2.0 on Feb. 17 at The Westmorland Museum of American Art in Greensburg.

Bill and Heather Kersting of North Huntingdon, who call themselves Stinger Trivia, fired off “name-that-tune” and pop culture questions from the 1980s to the 2000s for 23 competing teams.

They also threw in some local historical trivia in honor of Westmoreland County’s 250th anniversary celebration this year.

Though most players put their heads together in teams, Gene James, co-founder of Greensburg’s SummerSounds concert series, went it alone — dubbing himself Gene, Gene, the Dancing Machine.

The evening also featured the monthly happy hour’s usual art scavenger hunt, in which guests comb the galleries to spot details from some of the featured artworks.

At the end of a long table laden with pub-style snacks and charcuterie were platters of cupcakes decorated in the Mardi Gras colors of gold, purple and green, in honor of the Westmoreland 250.

Greeting guests were museum staffers Darrah Resnick and Sarah Rowe.

Seen: Barbara Jones, Michael and Stacy Hess, Carla Rusnica, Diane Dale, J.D. Peterson, Jeff and Rose Hydeman, Tim and Patti Johnson, Todd and Katrina Brown, Sue Jones, Ron and Joann Eberhardt, Dave and Debbie Delisi, Joe and Tracy Miscik, Deb Mucha, Brian Leonard, Gerald and Rachelle Abel, Howard and Paula Hughes, Jimmy Pirlo, Renee Leszczynksi and Laurie Gillott.

(And Tommy worked on the docks in the 1986 Bon Jovi song, “Livin’ on a Prayer.”)
