A section of Wyano Waltz Mill Road (Route 3010) in South Huntingdon will close Monday so PennDOT crews can replace a bridge over a branch of Sewickley Creek.

The closure, between Markeys Road and Waltz Mill Road, is expected to continue through mid-November, depending on weather conditions.

PennDOT will post a detour directing motorists along Huntingdon Road, Bells Mills Road (First Street), Route 31 and Waltz Mill Road.

Crews will replace the bridge with a precast concrete box culvert and wing walls. The $600,000 project will include widening of the approaching road, repaving and guide rail replacement.
