As part of ongoing celebrations for the 125th anniversary of Youngwood Borough, the Youngwood Fire Hall will host a karaoke night from 6 to 10 p.m. April 27.

The event will be held at 104 S. Second St. in Youngwood.

Replicas of the borough building, T-shirts, hats, totes and an anniversary cookbook are now on sale at the borough office and will be available at all upcoming events for the anniversary.

All funds raised by borough anniversary events will go toward social and musical gatherings, a community picnic, swim night, fireworks and a parade.

The borough also will be opening and replacing a time capsule from 1999 in September.

Established in 1899, Youngwood became incorporated as a borough in 1902.
