Seton Hill, Saint Vincent listed in America’s Best Colleges rankings

Seton Hill University and Saint Vincent College were recognized by U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 America’s Best Colleges rankings.
Seton Hill received 39th place out of 178 institutions in Best Regional Universities in the north region, which is higher than its rank of 54 last year. It tied with Berklee College of Music, Elizabethtown College, Endicott College, Moravian University and SUNY Oswego for the placement.
Seton Hill also ranked 20th in Best Value Schools and 44th in Best Colleges for Veterans. Last year, the university was ranked 27th and 46th, respectively.
Saint Vincent College was ranked 124th in the National Liberal Arts Colllege category out of 211 institutions. It tied with Albion College, Goucher College, Hollins University, Illinois College and Millsaps College.
The college also ranked 101 in Social Mobility, which is based on successful retention and graduation rates of economically disadvantaged students and Pell Grant recipients.
Each year, U.S. News ranks institutions based on the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education using various data.
Seton Hill has a 78% acceptance rate and a 58% graduation rate, according to the rankings, and Saint Vincent has a 73% acceptance rate and a 71% graduation rate.
