State police say a man brandishing a knife robbed a Par Mar convenience store on Route 982 in Derry on Sunday.

State police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who was armed with a knife when he robbed a Westmoreland County convenience store Sunday afternoon.

The robbery of the Par Mar store at 5071 Route 982 in Derry Township happened around 1:15 p.m.

According to state police, a man entered the store brandishing a knife and demanded “all the money” from the cashier.

State police did not say if anyone was hurt, or what the suspect got away with, if anything.

The man was described as 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a blue T-shirt, blue jeans, gray hat and white shoes.

No other information was available.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
