The Westmoreland Symphony will present the second of its Academy Concert Series on Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. at Zion’s Lutheran Church, 140 S. Pennsylvania Ave. in Greensburg. The concert features the Subito Quintet performing the works of Corelli, Grieg, Sibelius, Bach, Mozart and more.

The Westmoreland Symphony will present the Subito Quintet at 2 p.m. Feb. 2 at Zion’s Lutheran Church in Greensburg.

It is the second in the Academy Concert Series presented this season.

The quintet includes musicians Warren Davidson and Andrew Bronkaj, violin; David Sinclair, viola; Cecelia Caughman, cello and Gino Faraci, bass.

“We are looking forward to kicking off 2025 with a charming European inspired concert in the beautiful and historic setting of Zion’s Lutheran Church,” said Michael Rozell, WSO executive director. “The audience will embark on a musical journey across Italy, Spain, France, England, Norway, Finland, Hungary, Germany, Croatia, Austria and Kosovo — all in one enchanting afternoon.”

The quintet will perform the works of Corelli, Grieg, Sibelius, Bach, Mozart and many more in the 90-minute concert at the church at 140 S. Pennsylvania Ave.

Tickets are $20 and can be reserved in advance at westmoreland symphony.org or purchased at the door.

The remaining concerts in the series include Daphne Alderson and the St. Michael Band on March 30 and Academy String Quartet with bassoonist Linda Fisher on May 4.
