A Norfolk Southern Corp. railroad train hit a vehicle parked along the tracks in Derry Borough early Tuesday morning, a Westmoreland County Public Safety supervisor said.

No injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred at about 12:20 a.m. along West First Avenue, the supervisor said.

The slow-moving train caused minor damage to the vehicle.

Derry Borough and Derry Township firefighters responded to the crash.

Additional details were not available early Tuesday morning.
