• The Laurelville Retreat Center will host a takeout Pasta at the Polls dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 3 at the center dining hall, 941 Laurelville Lane, Mt. Pleasant Township. Menu: penne pasta with marinara, alfredo or meat sauce, salad, dessert and garlic toast. Cost: $8; age 2 to 11, $4; 2 and younger, free. No reservations required. • West Newton Woman’s Club will host a takeout stuffed pork chop dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at Gary’s Chuck Wagon, 109 S. Second St., West Newton. Menu: stuffed pork chop, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, coleslaw, rolls and butter, and chocolate or white cake. Cost: $15. • St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Trauger, is accepting reservations for a takeout ethnic dinner planned for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 7 at the church, 4480 Route 981 Mt. Pleasant Township. Menu: halupki, halushki, pierogi, kolbasi and cake. No substitutions or ala carte. Pickup will be in the back of the social hall. Cost: $12. • St. James Parish Rosary Altar Society is taking orders for a drive-thru soup sale planned for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5:30 to 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at the church, 306 St. James Lane, New Alexandria.
