Arts

• The Mon Yough Chorale is looking for singers to join the group for the upcoming season. No audition required. Rehearsals are from 7 to 9 p.m. Sundays starting Sept. 15 in the fellowship hall of Sampson’s Mills Presbyterian Church, 1665 Lincoln Way, White Oak. Details: monyoughchorale.org.

• Living Word Congregational Church, 2003 Ridge Road, Penn Township, will have a Second Mile prayer and communion service at 11 a.m. Monday through Saturday at the church.

Fundraisers

• Mon Valley Paws will host its annual Paws in the Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Monessen City Park walking track, Grand Blvd. Cost: $10 per pet. Schedule: 10:30 a.m., yoga; 11:15 a.m., pet training demonstration; 11:30 a.m., K9 demonstration and pet contest; and 1 p.m., blessing of the animals. • A spaghetti dinner will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 12 at First United Church of Christ, 400 Main St., Irwin. Cost: $10; children, $5.

Nature

• The Brandywine Conservancy will host a sunset tour of its preserve Penguin Court, 309 Penguin Court, Laughlintown, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 16. Senior Citizen News

• A Seniors for Safe Driving class will be offered from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at Redstone Highlands, 12921 Lincoln Highway, North Huntingdon. The class is PennDOT approved and for drivers who are at least 55 years old. Safe drivers can receive a 5 percent discount on auto insurance for three years.
