A woman is in police custody after allegedly shooting another woman in the parking lot of a Collier Township shopping plaza Friday, according to Tribune-Review news partner WTAE-TV.

The shooting victim was reported hospitalized in stable condition, police told WTAE-TV.

The shooting occurred at 3:50 p.m., an Allegheny County 911 shift supervisor said.

The incident started in an area near the Texas Roadhouse restaurant along Route 50, police told WTAE.

An Allegheny County detective said there was a disagreement or fight between the two women, and the woman was shot in the leg after reaching into her purse for pepper spray.

Additional details were not available.
