The woman found dead in Reserve Township on Tuesday has been identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office as 31-year-old Kelley Fleming.

She was found over an embankment in the 4000 block of Spring Garden Road, according to a release from Allegheny County police.

Dispatchers were alerted of the discovery just before 3:20 p.m. Tuesday.

County homicide detectives are investigating. Police said Fleming appears to have been dead for “an extended period of time.”

A gray backpack with black trim was located near Fleming, and there are no obvious signs of foul play, according to police.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line at 833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
