The Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host its second annual Celebrity Basketball Game to raise money for scholarships supporting the region’s Hispanic community.

The game will be at 2:30 p.m., Jan. 11 at the Wunderley Gymnasium at Penn State’s Greater Allegheny campus in McKeesport.

The game will feature celebrity players such as Dwight Penney (Holiday Baking Championship, Food Network), Joey Cora (Former MLB Player), Scoot Warrick (Harlem Wizards), Darius Prince (former Philadelphia Eagles Player), Nate Walker (American Idol), Carla Cortijo (WNBA), members of the Steel City Yellow Jackets, and more.

The family-friendly event will include activities, giveaways and the Nittany Lion, along with other mascots from local Pittsburgh restaurants and businesses.

“I am so appreciative of the players who take time from their busy schedules and help raise scholarships for our students,” said PSU Greater Allegheny campus Chancellor Jacqueline Edmondson. “The scholarship funds we raise together make such a difference for our students.”

Tickets are $10 to $25, and are available at PMAHCC.org.

The Greater Allegheny campus is at 4000 University Drive in McKeesport.
