Talk to the Trib: Convention-goers at Anthrocon

Anthrocon, the second largest furry convention globally, is taking place in Downtown Pittsburgh this weekend.

Attendees in fursuits gathered in droves at the David Lawrence convention center to experience the events, classes, and vendors. Visitors came across a variety of brightly colored animals with their own creative twists to add character, from dogs and cats to dragons and lions. Some decided to beat the heat and forego their full fur suits for a cooler day in their fur gloves, ears, and tails.

We wanted a first-hand perspective of the convention experience for Furries in Pittsburgh. Soren and Damien told us why they enjoy Anthrocon and the origin of their fursonas.
