• Penn State Extension offers a free, six-session program 6-7:15 p.m. Feb. 25 at 214 Donohoe Road, Greensburg. Learn how to get free patches, gum or lozenges and skills to practice and to get ready to quit by week 3. Details: ecu1@psu.edu with Quit in the subject line or 724-858-4224.
• Ideal Protein Information session held by the Weight Management Center, 11 a.m.-noon Wednesday and 4:30-5:30 p.m. Feb. 26 in Excela West- moreland Hospital. Details: 877-771-1234
• Excela Health and Boy Scouts of America, Westmoreland Fayette Council will continue the Explorer program at Excela hospital, 6-7:30 p.m. every third Wednesday of each month at Latrobe campus, Excela Latrobe Hospital, 1 Mellon Way. Register at wfbsa.org/exploring.
Support groups
• Excela Westmoreland Hospital, 532 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg will host these support groups
— Bariatric education and support session for those who have had surgery and for those in the process at 6-7 p.m. Feb. 26.
— Stroke survivors and their families/caregivers will meet 6-7 p.m. Feb. 25
