Blood drives

• American Red Cross will host these blood drives:

— 2-6 p.m. today , Brush Valley VFD, 5540 Route 259 Highway, Homer City

— 12:30-6 p.m., Friday, Excela Square at Latrobe, 100 Excela Health Drive

— 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, St. Michael’s Orthodox Church, 1182 Ashland St., Greensburg

— 2-6 p.m. Monday, Apollo United Presbyterian Church, 401 First St.

Classes/programs

• Highmark PALS Group meets every first Monday of the month at 10 a.m. in McKenna Center for Active Adults, 971 Old Salem Road, Greensburg. The group knits and crochets lap robes to donate to nursing and personal care homes. Details: 800-988-0706

Health & Wellness Fair

• Hempfield Township health and wellness fair is planned 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at The Hempfield Township Athletic Complex, 220 Forbes Trail Road. The event will feature a kids activity area with games and prizes along with activities like Zumba, kids yoga and Tai Chi. Presentations from the Hempfield Fire Department, ATA Martial Arts, Mutual Aid and more.

Support groups

• Family Reinforcement/Recovery Session for information and guidance for family members who need to deal with addiction in the family along with ongoing support, held by Carmen Capozzi, 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Sage’s Army Headquarters, 216 4th St., Irwin. Details: sagesarmy.com
