As social distancing fades, we’re all longing to spend time with family, friends and co-workers again, over food and drink and shared enthusiasms. One way to experience all those things at once — and on a regular basis — is to purchase season tickets from the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Season tickets are available in both full-season and half-season packages. When you buy season tickets from the Penguins, you are not just getting access to the only place in town where you can watch Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin score goals every night. You are entering into the Black and Gold Premier, an exclusive club with some definite V.I.P. benefits.

All members of the Black and Gold Premier receive 15% off food and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as 15% off merchandise at all PensGear locations. Another great perk is that if the Penguins make the playoffs — which they have been able to do for the past 15 years in row — members have the right of first refusal for Stanley Cup© playoff packages.

If you are not able to attend a game, the Ticket Trade program allows members to exchange tickets. Members will also have access to Account Manager to easily forward, sell and donate tickets.

Black and Gold Premier members are eligible for exclusive season ticket holder events that the Penguins throw every year. Some of these include delivery of your tickets by the Penguins players, post-game meet and greets, and away-game watch parties.

Black and Gold Premier members also gain some exclusive access to the home of the Penguins, PPG Paints Arena. The organization hosts an open skate day, as well as “Paint the Ice presented by PPG” — a unique event where season ticket holders can put their creative touches on PPG Paints Arena’s ice after the season has ended.

There is also the fan-favorite holiday photos at the arena. Your family will be the envy of the neighborhood when you send your holiday cards with the Penguins bench or goal as the background.

And while you are at PPG Paints Arena, check out some of the cool new additions to the arena. They have just added the Ford Lounge, where fans can meet up, grab a drink and not miss a second of the game, as they watch from one of the more than 10 big-screen TVs.

Also, recently added is the BetRivers Lounge. This sports-book style lounge matches the look and feel of the real sportsbook at the Rivers Casino. This high-tech hangout spot has two rows of bowl seats, a lounge area, hi-def screens, and livestreaming betting odds. Fans with BetRivers.com accounts can watch and wager on any sporting event of their choosing.

As an added convenience, a GetGo Café + Market opened up in the arena. Located behind Section 116 on the FedEx Level, this favorite spot sells signature sandwiches, burgers and chicken tenders. There is also a grab-and-go selection of wraps, subs and salads.

“We currently live in an experience economy,” Penguins Chief Revenue Officer Terry Kalna explains. “And Penguins tickets are the currency fans desire.”

For local businesses that want to show their appreciation to a valued customer, being able to give out Penguins tickets goes a long way in generating goodwill. Smart companies understand the value of always having seats to the hottest ticket in town. Employers that reward employees with Penguins tickets will have loyal workers for life. And they will be able to attract the best talent, too.

Businesses aren’t the only ones to benefit from Penguins season tickets. A night at a Penguins game with your family or friends has no parallel.

Before the 2021-22 season starts, make sure you get your season tickets. Nothing says back to normal more than sitting in PPG Paints Arena with 19,000 other fans shouting, “Let’s Go Pens!”
