Building relationships in the business world is more important than ever before. Opportunities for making connections to new clients or strengthening old business partnerships are harder to find face-to-face in a highly-digitized world.

With Pittsburgh Penguins hockey, it’s easy to get that quality time by harnessing the power of business entertainment.

Taking a client or business connection to PPG Paints Arena to watch the Penguins play is the perfect opportunity to combine business and fun, and impress your client at the same time.

The Penguins have a variety of VIP and hospitality packages available for both the regular season and the playoffs.

Considering the Penguins’ success in recent years — their back-to-back Stanley Cup wins in 2016 and 2017 and more than a decade of consistent playoff appearances — it’s no secret why a night out to a Penguins hockey game is a good entertainment decision.

“We have a pretty good product, both on the ice and off,” said Ross Miller, a spokesman for the Penguins.

The NHL regular season lasts from October to April, with a deep playoff run often extending into June, and there are 41 regular-season home games each season.

This means ample opportunities for enjoying a hockey game with a business prospect.

Miller points out that the hockey season also runs seven days a week.

“A lot of other sports are primarily on the weekend,” he said. “Weekday evenings are nice to have.”

The flexibility of a week-round — and nearly year-round — schedule is just one of many ways that a business entertainment experience with the Penguins is customizable.

“We have a lot of variety in seating products,” Miller said. These include VIP ticket packages, suite rentals and a variety of different experiences.

Season ticket packages are available for die-hard fans who want to show off their hometown hockey team to many business associates. These packages are cost-efficient and provide a consistent and fun experience.

Even if season tickets aren’t in the cards, Miller says it’s always best to check the availability of tickets, especially premium-package ones.

“I do think there’s this notion that we don’t have tickets available,” he said. “It’s a misnomer. … People just don’t check because they think we don’t have any availability. Our Premium Seating group does a great job with availability.”

For a luxury evening that will really wow associates, there are premium packages that will impress any guest.

The selection of packages include experiential seats, Club Seats, Lower Level seats (which are close to the action on the ice), and even suites.

Whether the plan is an intimate, face-to-face experience for one other person or a party of 40, there are ticketing options available for premium seats.

Some guests prefer a higher-up bird’s-eye view of the action, while other prefer to be as close to the ice as possible. Every option is possible, with boxes and premium seats placed at various locations throughout PPG Paints Arena to accommodate anyone’s favorite way of watching a game.

There are also plenty of food options. With a wide array of available dining experiences, PPG Paints Arena will satisfy traditional stadium food cravings, but there are also more high-end options for the discerning diner.

Premium packages are flexible with concessions as well, from private party suites that include food and non-alcoholic beverages to pre-game meals at the Lexus Club to tickets loaded with cash for concessions.

If parking is a concern on a busy Pittsburgh evening, they have you covered there, too. Many packages come with parking passes for the Jim Shorkey Auto Group garage, which makes arriving at the arena in time for the game an easy proposition.

“I think today is a very much on-demand world,” Miller said. “Different people have different needs. Whether it’s the Executive Suites, Party Suites or Club Seats, we have a lot of different things for what you’re looking for.”

For whatever demands need to be met, with almost a dozen premium experiences and excellent availability, the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena are a great way to score a goal with current and potential clients.
