The modern open-air shopping center is the best of all worlds, providing convenience and style in one compact area. Streets of Cranberry, with its quaint village-like setting, is a perfect example of the model. Established 15 years ago and constantly upgrading, it’s one of the best destinations for shopping and dining in the region.

Located along Route 19, Streets of Cranberry has more than two dozen venues within its 300,000 square feet of retail and dining space. At the center of everything is The Patio, a commons area with comfortable seating and a fire pit. “The Patio is a relaxing place to hang out, sit by the fire pit and have a bite to eat outside,” said Emily Wittmer, marketing director for Streets of Cranberry.

Holiday shoppers will find something for everyone on their list.

The fashion retailers include White House Black Market, Chico’s, J.Jill, Old Navy, Soma and Talbots. For sports lovers, Rally House offers gear for fans of the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, and local college sports teams. Even more local love can be found at Steel City for Pittsburgh-inspired style for the whole family. There’s also Jos. A. Bank for more men’s apparel.

And to get a start on fitness-oriented New Year’s resolutions, there’s CycleBar, where cyclists at all levels can take indoor cycle rides to improve the body and mind.

Rounding out the offerings, there’s a UPS Store and a Verizon center for all of its products.
