A GoFundMe campaign has raised almost $14,000 to help the four children of a couple killed in a car crash in Warren County.

Stephen Charles Rothrauff, 39, and his fiancee, Jessica Lee Camp, 32, of Mead Township, had four children, including a premature baby born just five days before they died, according to the fundraising effort.

The couple and Camp’s 15-year-old daughter were on their way to Warren General Hospital to feed the newborn, who was rejecting formula, when the crash happened on Route 6 on Sunday, the Trib’s news partner, WPXI-TV, reported.

According to state police, Rothrauff was driving an SUV on Route 6 near Mead Avenue when he lost control on the slippery, snow-covered road.

The SUV spun into the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer.

Rothrauff and Camp, who was in the front passenger seat, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Camp’s 15-year-old daughter was in the back seat. She was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle, state police said. She suffered a suspected major injury and was taken by helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

The girl was last known to be in stable condition, according to WPXI.

Crabtree suffered a suspected minor injury, state police said.

The baby is in stable condition at Warren General Hospital, according to the fundraising site.

Donations to a memorial fund in Rothrauff’s name are also being accepted at PNC Bank.
