Remember when President Trump referred to Baltimore as a “rat and rodent infested mess” in July?

Plenty of Baltimoreans do.

In advance of the president’s arrival there Thursday, protesters erected a giant, inflated rat balloon with a Trump-like head on President Street.

The blonde-haired rat is wearing a red tie and is holding a cell phone.

“The rat looks like it means business,” according to CBS-Baltimore.

Many viewed Trump’s earlier comments as having racial undertones.

The district he was referring to was predominantly black.

A man named Claude Taylor renamed the street “Barack Obama Avenue” after Trump’s predecessor, the first black president. Taylor was also credited with blowing up the balloon, according to The Hill.

Trump was expected to speak at a GOP House retreat that is being held at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel.
