Who couldn’t use a bit of “awww” with their ale?
A North Dakota brewery has taken beer cans and made them even better. By putting dogs on them.
But not just any dogs. Fargo Brewing partnered with 4 Luv of Dog Rescue to give some adoptable canines some exposure.
The brewery and the volunteer rescue group held a joint event Monday.
“Our wonder dogs are dogs that will live their best life in a home by themselves and there’s no other pets,” Jerad Ryan, a volunteer with 4 Luv of Dog, told KVRR in Fargo. “So, they can be a little bit tougher to find homes for, foster homes, that type of thing. So, we are featuring those dogs in a can and bringing them here, so the public can meet them.”
At the event, Fargo Brewing offered up a 6-pack of its Original Lager with a different “Oneder” dog on the can.

The six dogs on the cans were Nyx, Bizzy, Jensen, Hobie, Moby and Virginia.
Ryan told CNN he got the idea while working at his regular job.
“I was always trying to think of ways to promote (my dog) and the other less fortunate dogs in our rescue,” he said. “At my job at Northern Plains Label, we produce labels for breweries, and I just had the light bulb style idea to feature the dogs on beer cans.”
Proceeds from the outing will benefit 4 Luv of Dog Rescue.
