Twitter, Tweetdeck suffer global outages

Yes, everyone else was experiencing it, too.
Twitter and Tweetdeck experienced global outages Tuesday night, and they remained a problem for many users Wednesday morning.
Twitter Support said users might have had issues tweeting, getting notifications or viewing direct messages. Users also reported issues with retweeting and using Twitter’s GIF search.
Just after 7 a.m. Wednesday, Support tweeted (obviously, their system was just fine) that the issue was “just about fixed.”
The issue is just about fixed. You should be able to access Twitter as usual. If not, give it a few more minutes! Thanks for waiting.

Tech website CNET reported Tweetdeck outages appeared to begin about 9 p.m. Tuesday, according to Outage Report, which said it had gotten more than 1,300 complaints in about a half hour.
It wasn’t long ago that Twitter had a complete meltdown.
In July, the service went down for an hour, the result of an “internal configuration change” that the company then rolled back.
