During the campaign Biden stated his selection for VP would be a woman of color. This statement also excluded all white women and all men. Racist?
Any time his administration announces an appointment to a position in government the person is identified as Black, Hispanic, Asian, transgender, gay, etc., I feel this is disrespectful to the person because qualifications are not discussed at this announcement and as a result it is perceived that the label is the reason they got the position.
