Letter to the editor: Bureaus’ ‘errors’ are evil

One definition of the word “evil” as taken from the American Heritage Dictionary is “Morally bad or wrong; wicked.” This can be said about a lot of things, but two things come to mind that exemplify the word, two things happening right now in America which, when examined closely, have terrible implications for our American way of life.
1. When the FBI originally released the “final” crime data for 2022 in September 2023, it reported that the nation’s violent crime rate fell by 2.1%. The FBI just revised those numbers that show violent crime actually increased in 2022 by 4.5%. The new data includes thousands more murders, rapes, robberies and aggravated assaults.
2. The Bureau of Labor and Statistics revised its statistics regarding the March 2023 to March 2024 jobs report and admitted that the U.S. had 818,000 fewer jobs than previously estimated during that period.
To say that these actions by federal “bureaus” are just simple errors is doing grave injustice and harm to the American people. In my opinion, they clearly demonstrate an intentional, evil deception, outright lying by government officials to undermine truth and keep the American people intentionally misled while our enemies continue to bulldoze away at our republic.
These people need to be held accountable and either terminated from their positions or prosecuted.
