I think the article “Deluzio, other Dems tell troops to refuse illegal orders, Trump labels them as ‘traitors’ ” (Nov. 20, TribLive) was a blatant political attack on the Trump administration because the Democrats could not identify any illegal orders issued to current military forces.
However, the Dems may have achieved their goals when President Trump angrily responded to this political slur. Now, these seemingly sensitive Democrats can claim they are victims of Trump’s rhetoric.
And what’s with Gov. Josh Shapiro labeling Trump supporters “sycophants”? Does the governor think the majority of Pennsylvania voters in the 2024 presidential election are Trump sycophants?
I fully agree with Sen. Dave McCormick, who describes the Dems’ actions as “wrong and extremely inappropriate.”
