Elections are about choices, and nowhere is there a bigger contrast than in the Pennsylvania state treasurer race.

Our current treasurer, Joe Torsella, is a member of the Philadelphia elite. I don’t believe he has any idea how middle-class, hard-working Pennsylvania families in the state struggle to make ends meet.

Fortunately, we have a better choice. Stacy Garrity is a lifelong Pennsylvanian from Bradford County. She is a decorated military veteran who was deployed to Iraq three times. She was called “the Angel in the desert” for her perfect record overseeing detainment camps. She is also a businesswoman who has focused on creating manufacturing jobs in our commonwealth.

When it comes down to deciding who should be our next state treasurer, the choice couldn’t be more stark — or more clear. It’s Stacy Garrity.
