Letter to the editor: No thanks for Trump

Regarding the letter “Thank you, President Trump” (July 27, TribLIVE): More than 169,000 of my fellow Americans have died from the coronavirus. If Trump had listened to the experts and started doing something to control this in January, I don’t think things would be as bad. Because of him, more Americans are collecting unemployment checks and may lose their homes.

I believe Hillary Clinton, as president, would not have waited so long to start getting masks, gowns and a vaccine ready to control this virus.
