You could not make this up: Our president called upon Pennsylvania voters to reject the retention of state Supreme Court Justices Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty and David Wecht, asserting that he was asking this of Keystone State citizens in order to “bring back the rule of law and stand up for the Constitution.”

Is this the same president who insisted that the Constitution be suspended so that he could replace the legitimate winner of the 2020 presidential election … the man who said he would have to consult with his legal team to determine whether it was necessary for constitutional rights to be granted to the citizenry … the man who has pardoned and commuted the sentences of countless criminals who broke the law, including the violent felons who beat, sprayed with poison and crushed law enforcement officers who bravely defended the Capitol and those within it on our modern day of infamy, Jan. 6, 2021?

The Trump credo seems to be, “I recognize and love the Constitution and the law when they benefit me. When they don’t, they do not exist.”
