Letter to the editor: Us-vs.-them nastiness must stop

I find Ken Mowl’s letter “Democrats’ end game is their ‘social justice’ ” (Jan. 26, TribLIVE) repellent. He claims that Democratic leadership “espouses conspiracies, divisiveness, greed and a lust for power. I believe their path to power is paved by racism … .” None of this is true.

I do believe that Jesus implored us to “love they neighbor as thyself.” He never said anything about creating malignant make-believe innuendo about people you disagree with.

News flash, Mr. Mowl: This belligerent us-vs.-them vindictiveness has to stop. It is un-American, un-Christian and, frankly, delusional. You need to stop guzzling the Kool-Aid, pal.
