Letter to the editor: Vote to save our free open society

What is happening to America is apocalyptic.

Bidenomics has caused severe financial hardship to America and has especially hit hard the elderly and those on fixed incomes. Under Biden/Harris we have had the CCP flying spy balloons over America while simultaneously buying up millions of acres of farmland with most being close to our military bases.

With the blessing of Biden/Harris millions upon millions of “migrants” have crossed into America and have brought child trafficking, diseases, crime, fentanyl and extreme financial burdens on American communities and the American health system. Many religious people want illegal aliens — I’m assuming they’re including those who have broken our laws — treated like neighbors and brothers. Neighbors? Brothers?

On Aug. 21, the Bureau of Labor and Statistics reported that the U.S. had 818,000 fewer jobs than previously estimated from March 2023 to March 2024.

Under Biden/Harris, it seems to me our military is more interested in DEI and gender transition care than preparing for war.

Kamala Harris, when asked if she would have done anything differently than Joe Biden, said, “There is not a thing that comes to mind.”

Some of America’s Democrat-run cities are crumbling; liberal Trib columnist Joseph Sabino Mistick is aghast at what is happening in Pittsburgh (“A safer Pittsburgh needs more eyes on the street,” June 15, TribLive).

I believe that America is at the crossroads of Marxism/communism or staying a free open society. Vote wisely.
