The Prez, assuming himself the funniest human being in the whole world along with the greatest president ever, apparently never considered that trying to purge someone actually funny from TV-space, Jimmy Kimmel, would have given an early bum’s rush to the deification-of-you-know-who news cycle. Like a hard rain sweeping smoke or dust from the sky, this trampling of the First Amendment left airwaves clear enough to peer again into the Trump/Epstein bud-fest — sleaziness made more obvious and irrefutable with every showing of a smug young party animal about town, future leader of the free world pre-combover, with mouth to ear of the pedophiliest and sex traffickiest rich guy ever.
The bias may not entirely be warranted, but seems like all the funny far-righters in the world would fit neatly in the bed of a Ford F-150 … unless mean-spiritedness, cold-heartedness, bigotry and all those ridiculous promises — Gaza and Ukraine death and destruction; high prices ending in 24 hours; crypto, AI and AR-15s making us free; humans on Mars (Why?!!); self-driving cars that ease into garages, not rear bumpers — are the real funny stuff.
While the number of Americans continues to grow who believe this new breed of stand-up comedian should sit their rear ends down ASAP, who will we turn to now for blessed comic relief hours after the sourpusses have tucked themselves into bed? Take my Social Security, my Medicare, national security, child health and international respect, but leave my laughs alone!
