Ben Roethlisberger gave the world a glimpse of what his life has been like the past week while he and his family are voluntarily quarantined during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback was seen in a tweet shared Friday afternoon by the official team account that showed an intimate scene with his family sitting around a dining room table while describing what they’ve been up to the last few days.

Still rocking the burly beard, Roethlisberger, who lives near Sewickley, declared: “We’re doing well here, locked down in the house.”

Big Ben said his family was “praying for everyone.”

“If you have to (leave home), I hope that everyone practices good social distancing. … If you’re locked down in your house like we are, there are a lot of fun things that you can do.”

Roethlisberger said one of the things he and wife, Ashley, are doing is figuring out curriculum for the children while they are absent from school.

He panned the camera and asked the rest of his family what they enjoyed doing during the quarantine.

“Playing Charades,” his son Bodie said.

Ashley said she enjoys “listening to the kids read books.”

Daughter Baylee said she enjoys riding her bike and celebrating her birthday.

And his namesake, Benjamin Jr., said he has enjoyed “hitting golf balls in the back yard” most.

Roethlisberger said the past week has been an “especially difficult and unusual time in our lives and in our country.”

He made sure to thank first responders and those working in the medical field.

“We’re thinking of them and praying for them, as well as anybody that’s been infected,” he said.

No. 7 signed off by reminding everyone that even though they may be quarantined, there is still a way to stay connected.

“Don’t be afraid to … FaceTime, to make calls, to connect with people to let them know that you’re thinking about them and you love them.

“Stay safe and God bless.”
