Shown while playing in a game earlier this season, Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Cory Trice Jr. is a healthy inactive for Sunday’s game at the Philadelphia Eagles.

PHILADELPHIA — Defensive back Cory Trice was the lone healthy player among the Pittsburgh Steelers’ list of inactives for Sunday’s game at the Philadelphia Eagles.

A second-year player who began the season as the Steelers’ dime hybrid linebacker, Trice has not played since Week 3 because of a hamstring injury. He was activated off the injured reserve list last week, but since Trice’s injury the Steelers have added veteran Cameron Sutton to the active roster off suspension to fill a dime role.

Against the Eagles, Sutton is expected to help fill in for injured starting strong safety DeShon Elliott, who is not playing because of a hamstring injury. Damontae Kazee also will have an expanded role.

As was announced Friday, the Steelers also are without receiver George Pickens (hamstring) and defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi (groin). Pickens is out for a second consecutive game, with veteran Scotty Miller taking his place in the Steelers’ receivers corps.

Replacing Ogunjobi in the D-line rotation are veterans Dean Lowry and Montravius Adams. Lowry was a healthy scratch last week, and Adams was activated off IR on Saturday. Adams has not played since October because of a knee injury.

Kyle Allen, as usual, is the “emergency” No. 3 quarterback against the Eagles.
