Duquesne’s head coach Keith Dambrot reacts from the bench in the first half of an NCAA college basketball game against Dayton, Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, in Dayton, Ohio.

After the postponement of The Atlantic 10/Mountain West Conference Challenge because of covid-19 concerns, Duquesne’s game in that series at Wyoming has been canceled.

The series was scheduled to begin in December, but the games will be rescheduled for the 2021-22 season, according to the conferences’ mutual agreement.

The parameters of the series remain the same, with 10 schools from each conference — a total of 20 — meeting in early December, five at A-10 venues and five in the Mountain West.

Meanwhile, Duquesne is working on a 2020 nonconference schedule to coincide with the NCAA’s revised college basketball start date of Nov. 25, the day before Thanksgiving.
