With no home court, Duquesne to play at PPG Paints Arena, UPMC Events Center

While renovation continues on Duquesne’s on-campus UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, the Dukes’ men’s basketball team will play their nine Atlantic 10 home games at PPG Paints Arena and Robert Morris’ new UPMC Events Center in Moon Township, school officials announced.

The first two conference games against defending champion Saint Louis on Jan. 2 and Davidson on Jan. 5 will be at Robert Morris. The Dukes will play five A-10 at PPG Paints Arena, starting with Fordham on Jan. 15.

The other A-10 foes visiting PPG are Dayton on Jan. 29, La Salle on Feb. 2, George Washington on Feb. 19 and Richmond on March 6. Plus, Duquesne opens the season at PPG against Princeton of the Ivy League on Nov. 5. Duquesne also will be play four nonconference games at La Roche University’s Kerr Fitness Center (Lamar, Lipscomb, VMI and Columbia).

The Dukes will return to Robert Morris for conference games against St. Bonaventure on Feb. 8 and George Mason on Feb. 29.

The five home-and-home opponents — Dayton, George Washington, Fordham, St. Bonaventure and Saint Louis — are unchanged from last season.
