Duquesne’s Tavian Dunn-Martin drives to the hoop on St. Bonaventure’s Kyle Lofton in the second half Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021 at La Roache University.

Duquesne guard Tavian Dunn-Martin, who earlier this offseason said he was returning to Duquesne for his final season of eligibility, has changed his mind and will enter the NCAA transfer portal.

Dunn-Martin played three seasons at Duquesne, first as a shooting guard and then as a point guard this season after Sincere Carry transferred to Kent State. Dunn-Martin was named Atlantic 10 Sixth Man of the Year after the 2018-2019 season.

Dear Duquesne,I thank my teammates for always supporting me & for making my experience so much better & the fans this was one of the hardest decision I’ve ever made in my life but i think this is what is best for me and my family! I have entered the transfer portal! Dukes 4L ❤️ pic.twitter.com/Ei7Qwd9Ne2

During his Duquesne career, he averaged 9.2 points and shot 33.8% from beyond the 3-point arc.

He is one of several Duquesne players who have announced plans to leave the team this year, including Carry, Lamar Norman Jr., Chad Baker and Marcus Weathers.
