Turner (5-foot-10, 170 pounds) holds scholarship offers from 11 schools, including Pitt, Nebraska, Wake Forest and West Virginia. He is the second wide receiver in Pitt’s class of 2025, joining Bryce Yates of Chesterfield, Va. Four of Pitt’s confirmed eight members of the class play their high school football in Florida.
Turner also plays cornerback and running back at South Sumter High School.
Coach Pat Narduzzi indicated through social media that Pitt secured five verbal commitments over the weekend. Turner and tight end Max Hunt of Tampa, Fla., are the first to publicly confirm their choice.
