Lee (6-foot-1, 180 pounds) totaled nearly 4,000 yards of total offense last season, but Pitt recruited him for safety or cornerback. He is the second Pennsylvania product to give coach Pat Narduzzi a verbal commitment, joining Thomas Jefferson offensive lineman Shep Turk. Commitments are non-binding until signing day in December.
While preparing for his senior season at Harrisburg, Lee has 10 scholarship offers, including ones from Akron, Buffalo, Iowa State and N.C. State.
The three-star prospect is the second defensive back in Pitt’s class of 2025. Detroit’s Elijah Dotson committed last month.
Pitt’s 13-man class is ranked 38th in the nation, ninth in the 17-team ACC, by Rivals.com. A total of 12 of the 13 players are rated three-star recruits. Offensive lineman Akram Elnagmi is currently unranked.
