Pitt added a second prospect to its class of 2026 on Friday when Isaac Patterson, a second-team All-Ohio defensive back, pledged to enroll next year.

Eight Mid-American schools, plus Penn, Dartmouth and Bucknell, have offered Patterson a scholarship. Pitt’s offer is his first from the Power 4. Patterson, who plays safety at Westerville, is rated a a three-star prospect by 247Sports.

Pitt secured its first 2026 verbal commitment last month when 6-foot, 180-pound quarterback Angelo Renda of Southlake, Texas, told coach Pat Narduzzi he plans to enroll. Renda is a three-star recruit, according to Rivals.com.
