Pitt and Florida State will kick off at noon Oct. 11 in Tallahassee, Fla., the ACC announced Monday morning. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

Following a 46-38 double-overtime road defeat to Virginia last weekend, the Seminoles (3-1, 0-1 ACC) dropped from No. 8 to No. 18 in the latest AP poll. This week, they host No. 3 Miami.

Pitt (2-2, 0-1 ACC) dropped its ACC opener Saturday at Acrisure Stadium, falling 34-27 to Louisville. The Panthers host Boston College at noon Saturday before hitting the road for FSU the following weekend.

In an all-time series that dates to Nov. 27, 1971, Pitt is 6-5 against the Seminoles.

Most recently, Florida State triumphed 24-7 at Acrisure Stadium on Nov. 4, 2023, while Pitt’s last trip to Tallahassee produced a 41-17 win Nov. 7, 2020.
