Kickoff times and television broadcast details for five of Pitt’s 2024 football games were revealed Thursday, including the 107th edition of the Backyard Brawl with West Virginia, set for Sept. 14 at Acrisure Stadium.

The Panthers and Mountaineers will kick off at 3:30 p.m., with either ESPN or ESPN2 handling broadcast duties.

Last year in Morgantown, W.Va., Pitt fell to their heated rival 17-6. In 2022, the No. 17-ranked Panthers triumphed 38-31 in the first game played between the programs since 2011.

Pitt is 62-41-3 all-time against West Virginia on the gridiron but comes off a disappointing 3-9 campaign in 2023.

West Virginia, on the other hand, enjoyed its finest season under coach Neal Brown last year, going 9-4 with a win over North Carolina in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.

The Panthers’ season opener Aug. 31 at home against Kent State will kick off at noon on ESPNU.

After that, Pitt travels to Cincinnati for a noon kickoff on ESPN or ESPN2.

In Week 4, Youngstown State visits Acrisure Stadium Sept. 21, with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on ACC Network Extra.

Finally, the Panthers host Syracuse in a Thursday night showdown at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 on ESPN.
